What is HDR photography?
HDR — High Dynamic Range — is a technique where the camera takes a series of exposures of the same scene, from very dark to very bright. In post-processing all layers are merged into a single image that reproduces the full tonal range of the interior.
A standard camera captures only a fraction of what the human eye perceives. With a conventional interior shot the photographer faces a trade-off: either expose for the window (the wall goes black) or expose for the interior (the window burns out white). HDR eliminates that compromise.
The result? Bright, spacious rooms where you can see the furniture, finishing details and the view through the window at the same time — exactly as a buyer perceives the property on a viewing.
